Privacy Policy — Horizon Seek

Overview

Horizon Seek (“the App”) is a premium word search game built with your privacy as a priority. Your game data stays on your device, and we collect no personal information.

Data Collection

Horizon Seek does not require an account and collects no personal information. The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Game Progress: Puzzle completion status, campaign progress, daily challenge streaks, and statistics — stored locally to track your progress.
• Achievements: Your unlocked achievements and milestone tracking.
• Preferences: Your chosen theme, audio/haptic settings, and notification preferences.

The App does not:

• Collect any personal information or require an account
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or other device data
• Use analytics or third-party tracking services
• Display advertisements
• Sell or share your data with third parties for marketing

Data Storage

Your data is stored in two places:

• On your device: Using Apple's UserDefaults for game progress, statistics, and preferences.
• iCloud (optional): If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your game progress is synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This is off by default and entirely optional. iCloud data is managed by Apple and protected by your Apple ID.

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings. Deleting the App removes all local data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services:

• Apple StoreKit — For processing premium purchases (monthly, annual, or lifetime). Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment information.
• Apple iCloud (optional) — For syncing game progress across your devices, if enabled. Apple Privacy Policy

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.

Purchases

Horizon Seek Premium is available as a monthly subscription, annual subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Notifications

The App may request permission to send local notifications for daily puzzle reminders and streak alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server. Notification permissions are optional and can be changed at any time in your device Settings.

Children's Privacy

Because Horizon Seek collects no personal data and does not require an account, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in iCloud), you have full control. Deleting the App removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new policy here with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
